784 If injury sustained while on duty necessitates the engineer's going into hospital for treatment, $5 a day will be paid him for medical expenses. Under ordinary circumstances no leave can be applied for nor will there be any summer vacation. Sick leave is limited to ten days after which it will be continued only on production of a proper medical certificate.

If the engineer should not observe this agreement the Head Railway Bureau may at once dismiss him and pay his salary and allowance up to the day of his dismissal.
